Magnetic Particle Inspection is a form of quality control. The method is used to examine the surface of a material in order to detect possible cracks and defects. Untested products pose a safety risk with the potential to cause severe damage to both people and property.
Quality assurance is an integral part of all processes in Maprotec’s operations. We carry out Magnetic Particle Inspections with the Magnaflux® method in order to verify the technical quality of our products and guarantee their safety. The method enables us to quickly detect cracks and defects on the surface of a material, which is particularly important in terms of safety.
The more detailed inspection of parts and components requires other methods, such as ultrasound. Our sister company Mapromec inspects the quality of parts and components via an ultrasonic test.
