Pressure Testing
Pressure testing is a form of quality control that is performed partly to verify that the product is dense and partly to test that it withstands a pre-specified pressure. Pressure testing is also important in terms of safety because a defective product may pose a safety risk to both people and property.
Our production has seven different pressure testing stations. Normal pressure testing goes up to 60 bar, but we have also carried out pressure testing up to 300–400 bar. We follow the customer’s instructions meticulously and carry out pressure testing as specified. Maprotec has performed pressure testing ever since the 1990s, and the company is a valued cooperation partner amongst Vaasa energy cluster’s leading suppliers.
